| Fine Art in watercolor, pen and ink, mixed media and bronze sculpture. As a young girl I fell in love with creating art. I love to paint and take delight in sculpting. My travels into Africa and Italy have provided beautiful places to create photos and paintings from. However, I find beauty wherever I am. One of my favorite places to go is the zoo. I am capturing the animals in watercolor for my upcoming alphabet book. The city of Lakewood selected my design for their letterhead. The Mayor's office in Denver, Colorado chose my design for a memorial plaque in honor of the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001. The memorial plaque is installed on a marble base in the B Concourse at Denver International Airport (DIA). Publicity regarding this design is on the Mayor's website and the United States Mayoral Website. I am the President and a juried Signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society. I also belong to Art of the Rockies Association and Art Student League of Denver. I sit on the planning committee for La Piazza dell 'Arte. I have won awards and sold paintings in many art shows and my donated paintings have helped raise money for several non-profit organizations. A passion to create lies deep within us. Creating art is a way for me to express the visions and ideas that grow in my heart. I get excited with each new piece. Birth is given to yet another idea...and expression continues through my art.
